Imagine having a child that browses the web every day. The web is a wonderful way of learning new things but can also be dangerous for a child's development if used improperly. I am talking about accessing malicious and dangerous websites or downloading dangerous files from the Internet. At the same time, you may have some files on your computer which are improper for children and you would like to block those files from being accessed. For all these situations, you could use the HomeGuard Activity Monitor application.

This simple Windows program allows you to monitor all the aspects of using the computer, like typed passwords, accessed websites and files and so on. This will offer you total control over the child's activity when using the computer. The application is very simple to install and also easy to use, thanks to its intuitive interface.

After installing and launching the application, the monitoring process will automatically start and the user will be asked to enter a password for accessing the viewer. Without this password, the program's options won't be changeable and the viewing module won't be accessible. After completing this step, the user will be able to access the viewer at any moment and see various information.

All the information displayed by the program is efficiently organized in several tabs, for making it easier to access. It can display user logins, running programs, typed keys, chat conversations, accessed web pages and so on. The program can also display desktop screenshots, which are automatically taken at certain time intervals. By accessing the program's comprehensive options section, the user can configure all its aspects and can add some restrictions, for example, he can block certain websites from being accessed and can also hide certain files and folders.

HomeGuard Activity Monitor can also send various notifications through email, when a blocked site is being accessed or another related action is performed.

Pros

It can monitor all the aspects of using the computer. Besides that, it can display various information, organized in tabs. Furthermore, the program settings can be protected with a password.

Cons

Having so much information displayed, the user can become confused at some point. HomeGuard Activity Monitor allows you to easily monitor all the aspects of using the computer.
